We are shocked to hear the frightening news that your university has planned
to kill all feral cats living on the campus.
Pardon us, but stealing the lives of peaceful animals is a policy unworthy
of an educational institution; we believe that we have the right to expect
some ethical behaviour of a University.
Besides, your campus cats are neutered and cared for by a volunteer
organisation, as you may well know. It is a fact that the killed cats will
be replaced before long by other homeless cats – not spayed. So you will be
engaged in an endless killing and murdering of innocent animals; they did
not ask to be born, but since they are here on our common earth, they have a
right to live, like everybody else, you and us included.

Gentlemen, whenever you catch the flu or a cold from another human, do you
